Ronnie lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband and seven children and 14 grandchildren. She was a stay-at-home mom for most of her childrearing years and enjoyed the voluntary job of creating weekly Christian brochures for her church, as well as teaching Sunday School. During this time she also wrote numerous short stories, poetry and one novel.
When her youngest child entered high school, she returned to college so that she could pursue a legal career, and after two years became a court reporter. She enjoyed the challenge and excitement of the profession and the many friends she acquired in the legal industry. Unfortunately, she had to leave it all behind when she was involved in a car accident and sustained injuries to her back and knees.
Ronnie took this as an opportunity to pursue her writing career. She returned to college and received diplomas for writing children’s and adult literature under the tutorship of renowned and bestselling author, Kevin McColley. She has since written and published three books; an adult suspense/thriller called Web Secrets, and the first two of five young adult action-packed outdoor adventures in “The Misadventures of Sarah Davies” series entitled Mudslide and Firestorm.
Ronnie has an enthusiasm for life and her faith and trust in God have given her the victory over situations that otherwise seemed impossible. Although life at times has thrown tremendous obstacles in her path, she has always overcome them, and continues to be positive and look for good things ahead.
She has a passion to write novels that are filled with excitement and action. Her aim is to keep the reader glued to every page from the first to the last, and she believes that great stories don’t need to be tainted with profanity, sexual content or insolence. Her mandate as an author is to write books that are void of these elements.
Her future goals include completing The Misadventures of Sarah Davies series in 2012, and she is currently writing the third in the series called Whiteout, and expects to have it released by the end of April, 2012. She will also complete a second suspense/thriller called Providence which is partially written and another of the same genre called Cold Revenge.
She is also writing a book called The Faith Victory Walk, which is a project in progression and is a collection of mini Christian messages based on faith and can be viewed on her Christian blog. As well, she has a second book in progression which is her true life story of how she not only survived a car accident, but got the victory over two life-threatening diseases including terminal cancer.
Ronnie has a personal Christian blog called, “Smile! God Loves You”, where she shares her Christian insights. You can visit this blog and be blessed by going to www.ronniedauber.wordpress.com
Ronnie holds several college diplomas for literature from the Institute of Children’s Literature including Writing for Children and Teenagers, Writing Children’s Books, and Shape, Write and Sell Your Novel.
She has also earned a college diploma from the Toronto Business College for Business Administration and Common Law, and holds a legal government Certificate for Court Reporting. She is currently enrolled at Teachers Without Boarders in their college program, Certificate of Teaching Mastery.
Ronnie enjoys the company of her friends and colleagues at her favorite hangout, the virtual global online Cafe Niente. This is a unique place where laughter and relaxation with friends reminds her that life is good. Although none of the friends have ever met in person, there is a bond of friendship between them as these global friends share their special moments, making Niente the best place to be.
